ORDER

This Writ Petition (Criminal) has been filed seeking a direction to the 5th respondent to provide police protection for conducting a Thiruvizha scheduled from 21.02.2026 to 01.03.2026.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions from the respondents police, submitted that the representation of the petitioner seeking police protection for conducting the temple festival has been considered. However, the petitioner has been directed to conduct the temple festival on 07.03.2026 and 08.03.2026. To that effect, he also produced a copy of the written instructions received from the Deputy Superintendent of Police, 3.
