Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to dispose of the representation of the petitioners dated 26.10.2013 and thereby forbear the respondents from changing the patta in favour of the fourth respondent exclusively in respect of the property in S.No.62/2E2 - 350 sq.mtrs (3868 sq.ft) at Azhiyoor Village, Villupuram Taluk. This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to dispose of the representation of the petitioners dated 26.10.2013 and thereby forbear the respondents from changing the patta in favour of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
fourth respondent exclusively in respect of the property in S.No.62/2E2 - 350 sq.mtrs (3868 sq.ft) at Azhiyoor Village, Villupuram Taluk.
2. The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners were issued patta in respect of the land comprised in Survey No.62/2E2 admeasuring 3868 sq.ft., situated at Azhiyoor Village, Villupuram Taluk. However, the petitioners apprehend that the fourth respondent attempted to cancel the patta issued in favour of the petitioners before the first respondent.
3. Therefore, the petitioners submitted representations to the respondents 1 and 2 herein and requested to issue notice to the petitioners, if any application filed by the fourth respondent to cancel the patta issued in favour of the petitioners and dispose the same.
4. Considering the same, the first and second respondents are directed to issue notice to the petitioners and the parties concerned, if any application filed by the fourth respondent to cancel the patta issued in favour of the petitioners and after giving them opportunity of hearing and pass order on merits in accordance with law.
5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
