With the consent of both sides, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
2.The case of the petitioner is that while he was working as a Sanitary Inspector in the second respondent Municipality, he was placed under suspension on 23.01.2015. Thereafter, he sent a representation to the respondents on 12.05.2015 for revocation of the suspension order. Since no order has been passed by the first respondent, the present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.M.Baskaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent and Mrs.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Standing Counsel takes notice on behalf of the second respondent. 4.Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent would submit that the representation given by the petitioner dated 12.05.2015 was forwarded to the Commissioner, Municipal Administration, Chepauk, Chennai and the same is pending before him.
5.This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the Commissioner, Municipal Administration, Chepauk, Chennai to consider the letter forwarded by the second respondent dated 03.06.2015 vide Na.Ka.No.743/2014 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
