This Sub Application has been filed seeking to reopen the order dated 18.10.2024 passed in Contempt Petition No.3075 of 2024 by this Court. 2.
Insofar as this case is concerned, W.P.No.8 of 2024 was filed seeking consideration of the petitioner's representation and for a direction to investigate the misappropriation of funds by 5th to 8th respondents with respect to the properties in Patta No.24 situated in Thimmarajampettai Village, Wallajahbad Taluk, Kancheepuram District. This Court, by order dated 08.01.2024, after recording the Memo dated 08.01.2024 filed by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4, disposed of the Writ Petition, with a direction to file a compliance report by 31.07.2024.

The grievance of the petitioner that the above said order has not been complied with, and therefore, Contempt Petition No.3075 of 2024 was filed. However, the said contempt petition was closed on 18.10.2024 by this Court on the ground that the Joint Commissioner of H.R. & C.E has conducted the enquiry and placed the report dated 20.07.2024 before this Page No.2 of 5
Court.

However, the petitioners have filed the present Sub Application seeking to re-open the contempt petition which had already been disposed of by this Court.

It is seen that this Court, by order dated 11.08.2025 in this Sub Application, observed that the order dated 08.01.2024 in W.P.No.8 of 2024 had already been complied with by the respondents and further proceedings of the Commissioner of H.R. & C.E. Department dated 07.01.2025 was placed before this Court. However, it was submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the order has not yet been complied with, and therefore, the learned Government Advocate sought time to obtain instructions. Accordingly, the matter was adjourned.

Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (HR & CE) appearing for the respondent submitted that the order dated 08.01.2024 in W.P.No.8 of 2024 has been duly complied with vide proceedings of the Commissioner of H.R. & C.E. Department dated Page No.3 of 5
07.01.2025.
