O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to quash the order of demand passed by the first respondent in his proceedings No.GL1/2007/L, dated 08.07.2011 demanding to vacate the petitioner from the rented premises and consequently direct the respondents not to evict the petitioner from the rented premises otherwise than due process of law.

Since there is no representation for the petitioner, on 12.07.2017 this Court directed the Registry to post the matter 'for dismissal' on 19.07.2017. Today also, when the matter was taken up, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner.

3. Therefore, the Writ petition is dismissed for nonprosecution. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
