ORDER
The present Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 herein to consider our representation dated 13.02.2025 and take action against the respondents 3 to 5 herein.
2. Mr.M.Rajendiran, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the first respondent. Mr.S.Rajesh, learned Government Advocate, takes notice on behalf of the second respondent.
3. By consent of the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
4. The case of the petitioners is that they are working as Domestic Breeding Checker (DBC) in Krishnagiri Municipality and have been carrying out unblemished work. The Petitioners submits that they are being supervised by the Sanitary Inspector Mr. R.Ramakrishnan. It is their routine to spread dengue awareness by visiting every house in the Krishnagiri Municipality explaining them about how mosquito which causes dengue originates and the Page No.3 of 8
petitioners would report to the Sanitary Inspector at the end of day and brief him the works carried out that day. It is stated that the said Sanitary Inspector, without any reason, making them to work beyond the working hours and send them back from work belatedly. Further, the Sanitary Inspector treated the petitioners in an inhuman manner thereby asking the petitioners to clean the human waste, garbage and liquor bottles with bare hands and not providing gloves. When the petitioners resist from doing, he orally abuse them by using unparliamentary words which causes severe mental agony. Further the Sanitary Inspector does not pay the salary properly and even if he pays the salary, he is deducting a sum of Rs.500/-without any reason.

The Petitioners submits that apart from this the Sanitary Inspector, Joint Engineer Ulaganathan and clerk Prabhu are treating the workers with scant respect and as they have a strong political background authorities are not taking their complaints. Further the Joint Engineer converse with the female workers by using double meaning words which embarrasses the workers. Further, the Joint Engineer joining hands with the Sanitary Page No.4 of 8
Inspector compel the petitioners to collect bribe from the commercial establishment. Hence, the petitioners gave a representation to the respondents dated 29.01.2025, demanding them to take action against the Sanitary Inspector, Joint Engineer Ulaganathan and clerk Prabhu for the above said offences. As there was no reply evoked from the Respondents, they had once again given a representation to the second respondent on 13.02.2025 to take action against them. Since the said representation has not been considered by the respondents, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.
6. Mr.M.Rajendiran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 13.02.2025 would be considered and orders passed within the stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

In view of the above, without going to the merits of the representation and taking note of the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.02.2025, after giving due notice to the Page No.5 of 8
petitioner as well as the respondents 3 to 5, affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioners, consider the documents submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till such time, the respondents 1 & 2 are directed not to take any coercive steps against the petitioners.
8. With the above observation & direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
