Respondent(s) PRAYER To issue a WRIT OF MANDAMUS or order or direction, directing the respondents, particularly respondents 3 and 4 to conduct a proper survey and demarcation of boundaries of the petitioner's property comprised in Survey No.118/32 and 118/31, measuring 4 1/2 cents, situated at Edayarkurichi Village, Andimadam Taluk, Ariyalur District, using scientific technology (G.O.R.S) In accordance with the petitioner's applications dated 16.08.2024 and 29.07.2025 (Challan No.20250729020412), and to complete the same within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 3 and 4 to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the properties morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition by using the GPRS technology within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner claims that she had submitted applications on 16.08.2024 and 29.07.2025 along with requisite fees, seeking for survey and demarcation of boundaries of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition by using GPRS technology. Since the said representations have not been considered till date, this writ petition has been filed.

3. Mr. C. Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents 3 and 4 if the said authorities are directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, by using GPRS technology, after hearing the objections if any from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party, whom they deem it fit to enquire. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of in the following manner:- (a) Before surveying the lands in question, the

respondents 3 and 4 are directed to issue notice to the neighbouring land owners if any, and also to any other party, whom they deem it fit to enquire;

(b) After receiving objections if any and after considering the same, the respondents 3 and 4 shall conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, by using GPRS technology, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
