O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction directing the respondents to defreeze the current bank account bearing A/C No.42263300006101 of the petitioner maintained with the second respondent.

2. On perusal of the status report filed by the first respondent and on submission of the learned Government Advocate, based on the complaint, the complainant was issued C.S.R. No. 2276 of 2023. In pursuant to the said complaint, the first respondent requested the second respondent to freeze the account of the petitioner and thereby, refused to operate the account of the petitioner. Further, it revealed that the disputed amount of Rs.25,000/- was transferred to the petitioner's account.

3. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to hold a sum of Rs.25,000/- and defreeze the account of the petitioner and permit the petitioner to operate his account.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
