Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of mandamus directing the respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.12.2014 seeking earned leave salary, within the time frame work to be stipulated by this court.

ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to direct the respondent to dispose of his representation dated 04.12.2014 seeking earned leave salary within the stipulated time.

2. The petitioner served with the respondent office for 27 years and retired from the service on 30.9.2009. The respondent herein has not paid any amount towards earned leave to the petitioner. Claiming the earned leave salary, the petitioner made a representation dated 4.12.2014 to the respondent, however, the respondent has not considered the same yet.

3. Ms.Sri Jayanthi, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent and submitted that the respondent may be directed to dispose of the representation dated 04.12.2014 filed by the petitioner within the stipulated time. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to dispose of the representation dated 04.12.2014 filed by the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
