[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to produce the petitioner's daughter Minor Prithika, D/o.Late Murugesan, aged about 14 years, before this Court and hand over her custody to the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the detenue viz., Prithika, aged about 14 years, was secured on 12.03.2021 in Adhiyamankottai Police Station Crime No.105 of 2021 and the detenue was produced before the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), Dharmapuri, on 16.03.2021. On the orders of the CWC, Dharmapuri, the detenue is now lodged in Vallalar Children's Home, Kurunji Nagar, Dharmapuri.

Recording the same, this habeas corpus petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the CWC, Dharmapuri and if she is aggrieved by any order passed by the CWC, Dharmapuri, she can approach the Special Court for the Cases under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, in appeal.
