O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to defreeze the current bank account bearing A/C No.2302251552486126 of the petitioner maintained with the second respondent.

2. On perusal of the status report filed by the first respondent and on submission of the learned Government Advocate, based on the complaint, FIR registered in Crime No. 47 of 2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 420 IPC and 66D of Information Technology Act, 2008. However, the petitioner is not an accused in the FIR in Crime No. 47 of 2024. Further, it is revealed that the disputed amount of Rs.50,000/- was transferred to the petitioner's account.

3. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to hold a sum of Rs.50,000- and defreeze the account of the petitioner and permit the petitioner to operate his account.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
