O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent authority to give permission and police protection to conduct Cultural Programme (Adal Padal Nigalchi) in the event of Arulmigu Sri Ongaliyamman Thirukovil Festival at Pappapatti, Edaganasalai Municipality, Sankagiri Taluk, Salem District on 01.04.2022 between 07.00 p.m., to 10.00 p.m., by considering the petitioner's representation dated 18.03.2022. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. There is no representation on the side of the petitioner.

3. When the matter is taken up today, learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the representation dated 18.03.2022 of the petitioner has been rejected by the respondent on 22.03.2022 and it is also communicated to the petitioner. He would further submit that there is law and order issue pending in the area and two cases have been registered.

4. Recording the same, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
