This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.1537 of 2012 on the file of the first respondent police 2.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that in Crime No.1537 of 2012, investigation has been completed and further action dropped. The case has been referred as 'mistake of fact'.

In view of the above, nothing survives for further adjudication in the quash petition. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
