O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for not complying with the order passed in Crl.O.P.No.27780/2013 dated 30.10.2013.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. On 21.07.2016, this Court passed the following https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ order:-

"Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that during the course of investigation in Crime No.730 of 2013, the Police have arrested the accused by name Vadivel on 30.06.2016 and some amount has also been recovered. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that some more time is required to complete the investigation and final report.

At the request of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, post on 18.08.2016".

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that Vadivel is still in custody and sought some time for completing the investigation.

5. Taking into consideration, the nature of the allegation in the FIR and the fact that Vadivel has been arrested, this Court grants two months time to complete the investigation and file a final report.

Recording the same, this Contempt Petition is closed.
