ORDER
There is no representation for the petitioner. 2.Mr.S.Silambanan, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that the terminal benefits due to the petitioner Mr.M.Anbalagan, Assistant Executive Engineer, Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board, have been sanctioned and settled as per Letter Nos.P2/16687/Pen/HO/2008-1, 3 and 4 dated 26.02.2016. The following amounts have been paid:
(1).DCRG Rs.4,20,485.00 vide Cheque No.14070, dated 05.05.2016.
(2).Commuted Value of pension Rs.4,18,985.00 vide Cheque No.100617, dated 16.03.2016.
(3).Special Provident Fund Rs.18,423.00.
(4).General Provident Fund Rs.1,78,909.00 vide Cheque No.643512 dated 20.08.2008.
3.It appears that he was permitted to retire from services as per proceedings No.C1/HO/EE/000144/2008 dated 14.09.2015 on attaining the age of superannuation on 30.06.2008.
4.The petitioner herein has filed this writ petition seeking direction to settle all the pending pensionary benefits (DCRG) Commutation, amount on leave of credit with interest and consequential benefits such 2/4
as promotion.
5.Mr.S.Silambanan, learned Senior Counsel would also submit that the leave salary was paid to him by proceedings of the respondent dated 31.10.2008 in F.Retirement/EA/Spl/RW5/Gpd/08/dt.31-10-08 by way of a cheque for a sum of Rs.91,413/- including unearned leave (Cheque No.643593 dated 24.11.2008).
6.Recording the said submissions of the learned Senior Counsel as nothing survives in this writ petition, the writ petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
