J U D G M E N T

(The judgment of the Court was made by M.JAICHANDREN, J.) The State has come up with this Appeal, challenging the judgment of acquittal of the respondent/sole accused by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Fast Track Court No.I, Poonamallee, in S.C.No.217 of 2009, dated 16.08.2010, wherein, the accused stood charged for the offences under Sections 364 and 302 IPC.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up, Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, submitted that the respondent/sole accused is no more and he died on 19.05.2012. The Death Certificate issued by the Corporation of Chennai has been produced. The Criminal Appeal, therefore, stands dismissed as abated.
