Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuing a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's claim for issuance of patta pertaining to the property situate in Door No.249 comprised in Natham Survey No.31/37/6, Valparai Main Road, Valparai Taluk, Coimbatore District by receiving a proposal report along with village records from the 2nd respondent as indicated in his proceeding in Na.Ka.No.25469/2009/Aa2 dated 16.09.2011 within time bound manner.

O R D E R
The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's claim for issuance of patta pertaining to the property situate in Door No.249 comprised in Natham Survey No.31/37/6, Valparai Main Road, Valparai Taluk, Coimbatore District by receiving a proposal report along with village
records from the 2nd respondent as indicated in the proceeding dated 16.09.2011 within a time frame.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the issue with regard to the issuance of patta to the petitioner is pending for several years and therefore, the 1st respondent may be directed to pass orders on the claim made by the petitioner.
3.Mrs.K.Bhuvaneswari, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that in the event of the petitioner giving a fresh representation, the same would be considered by the 1st respondent in accordance with law. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner would give a fresh representation within a period of two weeks.
5.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, I give liberty to the petitioner to give a fresh representation to the 1st respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the representation to be given by the petitioner and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of twelve weeks thereafter.
6.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
