The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 15.03.2021 for the alleged offence under Sections 380 and 457 of I.P.C. in Crime Nos.686 and 854 of 2011 on the file of the respondent police respectively, seeks bail.
2. It is a case of jumped bail. The petitioner was arrested on 15.03.2021 pursuant to non-bailable warrant issued against him.
3. The learned counsel appearing for petitioner would submit that due to absence of the petitioner, the learned Judge ordered non-bailable warrant against the petitioner, thereby he was detained under PT warrant on 15.03.2021 on execution of non-bailable warrant. He would submit that he is in jail for more than a year and this is the second petition seeking for bail before this court. Hence, he prayed to grant bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for respondent would submit that as the criminal cases with respect to the above Crime Nos. 686 & 854 of 2011 registered against the petitioner are ended in acquittal, these petitions may be dismissed as infructuous.
5. Recording the submissions made by learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for respondent, these Criminal Original Petitions are dismissed as infructuous.
