Challenging the deed of settlement dated 5.10.1982 executed by the father of the petitioner in favour of petitioner's sister by name Thavamani in respect of the property of an extent of 26 acres at Sathanur village, Ponnamaravathi TAluk, Pudukottai District, followed by the sale deed vide document No.1633 of 1999 executed by the petitioner's sister, the petitioner filed a suit in O.S.No.221 of 2010 on the file of the District Munsif's Court, Thirumayam. Armed with a decree rendered therein on 29.11.2013, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents on 24.10.2014 seeking cancellation of the registration made in respect of the above said two documents. On its receipt, a summon was issued to the parties on 27.1.2015. As there was no further progress thereafter, the petitioner made another representation on 20.4.2015. Finding that no further action was forthcoming, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.
3. Considering the pendency of the representations made by the petitioner, the 2nd respondent is hereby directed to conclude the enquiry pursuant to the summons issued on 27.1.2015 on the representation of the petitioner dated 24.10.2014 after due notice to the parties within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
