O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to restore the Electricity Connection.

2. The case of the petitioner is that there was an Electricity connection in favour of the petitioner and the respondent had levied a sum of Rs.62,750/- and since the same was not paid, the electricity connection was disconnected. 1/3

3. The petitioner made a representation dated 07.03.2018 by offering to pay one-third of the amount demanded by the respondents. Since the same was not considered by the respondents, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4. Heard M/s.N.Beulah John Selvaraj, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.P.R.Dhilip Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents.

5. Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 07.03.2018 and deal with the same on its own merits and take a decision within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation to the respondent along with the copy of representation dated 07.03.2018 and a copy of this order.

6. This writ petition stands disposed of, with the above directions. No costs.
