Mr.C.S.Kumar, finding no response on the status of the statutory review application, dated 07.07.2013, filed against the order, dated 17.05.2013, has filed this writ petition, seeking for a Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the abovesaid review application, within the stipulated time.

Mr.S.Vijayakumar, learned counsel appearing for respondents 1 to 3 submitted that as the 1st respondent, being the statutory authority to consider the abovesaid review application, eight weeks time may be given to consider and dispose of the review application.

Considering the pendency of the review application and recording the submission of the learned counsel appearing for the respondents, the 1st respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the statutory review application, dated 07.07.2013, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
