The relief sought by the petitioner in this writ petition is to call for the records on the file of the first respondent in connection with the proceeding in Na.Ka.No.501/2022/A3 dated 26.09.2022 and quash the same.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent submitted that the tenure of the petitioner/Panchayat President got over on 05.01.2025. Hence, nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication.
3. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
