ORDER
The above writ petition is being filed for the following relief: "seeking a mandamus to the respondents to permit the petitioner to officially travel to Mumbai to appeal before the NCB Cases in Mumbai, Thane and elsewhere, as prosecution witness in the cases handled by the petitioner when the petitioner was on deputation as Intelligence Officer, NCB, Mumbai, and also direct the respondents to pay up the costs to pay up the fine and the costs for seeking legal assistance to recall the warrant issued by the NCB Courts in Mumbai, Thane and Elsewhere in Mumbai for the petitioner's non appearance and also revoke the both minor punishment orders issued therein."

Having heard the learned counsel on either side, this Court is inclined to record and issue the following observations and directions,
respectively:
(i) The petitioner is giving up the third relief claimed in this writ petition.
(ii) As regards the first relief of permission to travel to Mumbai to appear in NCB cases, it is informed that this permission would be granted without any delay.
(iii) As regards the second relief of reimbursement of costs to pay the fine and costs for seeking legal assistance to recall the warrant, the petitioner shall submit a representation to the first respondent through the proper channel viz. through the second respondent. As and when the representation is received, the second respondent shall, without any delay, forward it to the first respondent for passing orders.
(iv) Further, it is informed that the summons, which is issued to the petitioner, is not being immediately communicated to the petitioner. The Officer concerned shall take note of the fact that these are summons from the Court and the same has to be immediately complied with by forwarding it to the Officer concerned.
