O R D E R

This petition is directed against the non-compliance of the order of this Court passed in Crl.R.C.No.1079 of 2016 dated 29.11.2016, which required the respondent to pay

a sum of Rs.15,000/-, Rs.7,500/- and Rs.7,500/- to petitioners respectively towards monthly interim maintenance from the date of petition before the Court below.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioners and respondent, party-in-person.

3. The order passed by this Court on 29.11.2016 is only one of interim maintenance. Though learned counsel for petitioners submits that arrears payable in maintenance is a sum of Rs.5,80,000/-, this Court notes that subsequent to appearance in the present proceedings, respondent has paid a sum of Rs.3,00,000/-. The order of this Court dated 29.11.2016 inter alia required Court below to dispose of the main case as expeditiously as possible and in any event, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the order. Apparently, the order of this Court has not been complied with by the trial Court. This Contempt Petition shall stand closed with a direction to I Additional Family Court, Chennai, to deal with the main case with due dispatch and file a report before the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court informing

compliance within a period of one month of receipt of this order.
