The learned counsel for the respondents made a submission that the departmental disciplinary proceedings initiated against the writ petitioner ended with an order of punishment of compulsory retirement. Accordingly, the pensionary benefits were settled and thereafter, the petitioner died.
2. Now the family pension has been paid to the wife of the writ petitioner and she is receiving continuously. Under these circumstances, if at all any grievance exists for the legal heir of the deceased petitioner, they are at liberty to approach the competent authority.
3. With this liberty, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. 09.11.2022 Jeni Index : Yes Speaking order
