O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in IR in Crime No.14 of 2024 on the file of the first respondent.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that already the accused and the second respondent have entered into a compromise. Accordingly, the FIR in Crime No.14 of 2024 has been quashed by this Court by an order dated 21.03.2024 in Crl.O.P.No.6814 of 2024.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record.

4. On perusal of the records, this Court finds that the petitioner has also entered into a compromise with the defacto complainant. Under such circumstances, no useful purpose will be served in keeping the First Information Report pending, even though, the offences involved are not compoundable in nature. In the light of the guidelines given by the Hon'ble Supreme Court reported in 2017 9 SCC 641-(Parbathbhai Aahir

@ Parbathbhai Vs. State of Gujrath), this Court in exercise of its jurisdiction under Section 482 Cr.P.C.,/Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, quashes the FIR in Crime No.14 of 2024 pending on the file of the first respondent.

In view of the above, the FIR in Crime No.167 of 2023 on the file of the first respondent, is hereby quashed. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
