Rameshwar St. Counsel (TNEB) COMMON ORDER Mr.Yashod Vardhan, learned Senior counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that in the Writ Petition in WP No.12878 of 2016, filed by one Mayangammal @ Mayangathal against the respondent herein, this Court, by O rder dated 12.7.2016, directed the second respondent viz., The Chief Engineer/Civil Project, TANGEDCO, No.955, EVN Road, Erode, to convene a Meeting, in which the Superintending Engineer of the Water Resources Organisation of the Public Works Department as well as the concerned Revenue Officials and the petitioner shall participate and a proper/effective solution should be arrived at and the same should be placed in the form of a report of the second respondent before this Court when the matter is heared on the next date of hearing ie., on 16.8.2016... 2.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in view of the order passed by this Court in the said writ petition,

all the contempt petitions can be closed and the petitioner may be given liberty to work out his remedy, pursuant to the orders passed by this court in the writ petition in WP No.12878 of 2016, 3.

In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also in view of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.12878 of 2016 dated 12.7.2016, all the contempt petitions shall stand closed.
