O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents 1 to 5 to initiate appropriate disciplinary action as against the 6th respondent based upon the petitioner's representation dated 16.06.2021.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has sent a representation to various authorities on 16.06.2021, making allegation against the 6th respondent in respect of his fraudulent action. Despite, the representation being sent on 16.06.2021, no action has been taken by the respondents so far. He would further submit that though the representation has been sent to several authorities, it would suffice that a direction may be issued to the 5th respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 16.06.2021 in accordance with law.

Taking into consideration the submission made by the learned counsel, this Court is of the opinion that whenever a representation is sent, the Statutory authorities are duty bound to dispose of the same within a specific period of time. In this case, though, the representation has been sent on 16.06.2021, it has not been disposed of by the authorities. The petitioner has submitted that it would be suffice to direct the 5th respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 16.06.2021 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court in accordance with law.

In view of the above, a direction is issued to the 5th respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, it is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion with regard to the contents of the representation and the 5th respondent is at liberty to consider and pass orders in accordance with law.

5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above directions. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
