Prayer : Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay the petitioner a sum of Rs. 10,06,828.88/- towards Payment of Gratuity; a sum of Rs.2,37,169/- towards earned leave salary for 103 days; the amounts payable under the Post Retirement Benefit Scheme; a sum of Rs.7,80,211/- towards commutated value of pension; the difference in dearness allowance payable along with his monthly pension at the rate of 7 % from 1.5.2018 and as revised thereafter from time to time, together interest at the rate of 12 % per annum, within a specified time as may be fixed by this Honourable Court, Award costs. ORDER

This writ petition had been filed to direct the respondents to pay the petitioner a sum of Rs. 10,06,828.88/- towards Payment of Gratuity; a sum of Rs.2,37,169/- towards earned leave salary for 103 days; the amounts payable under the Post Retirement Benefit Scheme; a sum of Rs.7,80,211/- towards commutated value of pension; the difference in dearness allowance payable along 2/4

with his monthly pension at the rate of 7 % from 1.5.2018 and as revised thereafter from time to time, together interest at the rate of 12 % per annum. 2.The learned counsel for the respondents appearing on behalf of the Transport Corporation made a submission that all the pensionary benefits due to the petitioner has already been settled.

3.Inview of the above submission, this Court is of the view that if at all any difference in calculation or otherwise, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the competent authorities by way of a representation for redressal of his grievances including the interest claim of the petitioner in accordance with the rules. 4.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of.
