ORDER

This Court, while disposing of the writ petition in W.P.No.8485 of 2016, by order dated 08.03.2016, directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.02.2015 and to pass an appropriate order, on merits and in accordance with law, by affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks.

2.The present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of the order dated 08.03.2016 passed by this Court.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that in compliance of the order passed by this Court, the respondent herein has passed order on 30.05.2016 forwarding the representation of the petitioner to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Chengalpattu. Further, he has submitted that now the Revenue Divisional Officer has also passed order on 27.07.2018. Thus, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the order of this Court has been duly complied with by the respondent. 4.Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives in this contempt petition and accordingly, the same is closed.
