Ms.S.Madhumitha - - - - - C O M M O N O R D E R These Contempt Petitions have been filed to punish the respondents for contempt of Court for having violated the order of this Court dated 20/12/2023 made in W.P.Nos.6248 of 2021 and 64 of 2021 respectively.
2. While allowing the writ petitions in W.P.Nos. 6248 of 2021 and 64 of 2021, this Court had directed the respondents therein to consider the applications already submitted by the petitioners and grant Form L, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order.
3. This Court is prima facie satisfied that the order of the Court is not complied with, issued statutory notice for the appearance of the respondents on 29/4/2025. In compliance of the same, second respondent is present before this Court and memos of compliance were filed. 2/4

The learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that to comply with the order of this Court, respondents had placed Demand Drafts bearing Nos.541051 and 541052 dated 4/6/2025 drawn on Indian Bank, Allahabad, in favour of the petitioners to the tune of Rs.8,68,811/- and Rs.7,45,142/- respectively, towards the settlement of the gratuity amount along with interest to the petitioners.
5. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners have accepted the Demand Drafts and endorsement has also been made to that effect in the case bundle.
6. In such a view of the matter, this Court is of the considered opinion that no further adjudication is required in the present contempt cases. Accordingly, these Contempt Petitions are closed. 5/6/2025 mvs.
