The petitioner's daughter wrote plus two examination and obtained 130 marks out of 150 marks in Biology. The petitioner's daughter had expected more than 135 marks in the said subject. However, the results published would show that she secured 130 marks. Hence, she applied for revaluation of her Biology answer sheet. After revaluation, two marks were added and one mark pursuant to the judgment in W.A.No.565 of 2017 dated 12.06.2017. Not content with the marks obtained after revaluation, the petitioner applied for one more revaluation of
her answer sheet in Bio-Zoology for awarding one more mark for Question No.14 under Section A along with any other additional mark after revaluation of Question Nos. 17,23,24,25,26 and 28. Since the said claim has not been acceded to, the petitioner is before this Court.
2.Heard Mrs.Geetha, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.T.M.Pappiah, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents. 3.It is stated in the counter affidavit that pursuant to the demand for revaluation, a three member Expert Committee has been formed to revalue question Nos.14,17,23,24,25,26 and 28 of the Bio-Zoology answer script.
4.After revaluation, the original mark obtained by the petitioner, ie., 55 marks in Bio-Zoology was made as 57 i.e. additional 2 marks were given in revaluation. Once the revaluation has been made by appointing a Committee consisting of 3 Experts, there is no question of revaluing the answer papers again and again and there will not be any end for these kind of demands.
5.Once the petitioner was not satisfied with the original marks, the petitioner had applied for revaluation, which was also acceded to. This Court cannot go into such matters, which are entirely in the domain of Experts. Ordering revaluation again and again will not serve any purpose and there should be a finality for any proceeding.
6.Therefore, the petitioner's request for revaluation cannot be acceded to. Hence, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
