O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The present Contempt Petition has been instituted to punish the respondents for their willful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 29.02.2024 made in W.P.No.5088 of 2024.

2. This Court directed the respondents in the writ proceeding to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 17.11.2023 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording opportunity to the petitioner as well as the private respondents, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the writ order.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader would submit that such an exercise had already been undertaken and a final order has been passed by the Revenue Tahsildar, Thittakudi in proceeding dated 05.09.2024.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that having identified the encroachment no steps have been taken to remove the encroachment.

5. In the absence of any such direction, this Contempt Petition is not entertainable and that being the factum, the respondents have not committed any willful disobedience of the orders of this Court.
