Writ of Mandamus seeking disposal of the representation seeking protection. The date of representation is 20.12.2022, but the present writ petition is filed only now. However, in the meantime, the respondent police has considered the request and after taking note of the antecedents of the petitioner had rejected the request as early as 26.12.2023 vide proceedings dated C.No.649/11/SB/CPT/2023 dated 26.12.2023.

2. The rejection order assigned reasons why he is not entitle for any police protection as he sought. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the reasoning is entitled to challenge that rejection order. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
