O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents herein to consider and dispose of the representation of the Writ Petitioner dated 09.10.2019 and 20.10.2021 with regard to issuance of the House Patta in his favour in Survey No.56/2 (New No.99) of Village Natham in Padakalanatham Village, Viruthachalam Taluk within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The case of the petitioner is that she is residing over the aforesaid property for the past two generations. During the year 2017, she obtained a loan under Prime Minister Housing Scheme for the construction of a house with an RCC roof and constructed the house, residing in the said property. The said property is a Village Natham, and few persons living https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

in the aforesaid Survey number had obtained Patta from the Government based on their possession and enjoyment. Therefore, the petitioner has made various representations dated 09.10.2019 and 20.10.2021 before the respondents, seeking to issue House Patta in her name. However, till date, no order has been passed. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that petitioner's application for issuance of Patta has been rejected on 31.03.2022, on the ground that the petitioner's husband is employed as Government servant.

4. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Granting liberty to the petitioner to work out the remedy in the manner known to law and the 3rd respondent is directed to communicate the impugned order to the petitioner to enable her to work out her remedy in the manner known to law.
