ORDER

(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.P.Tamilavel, learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal (DRAT) to dispose of the appeal in AIR No.139 of 2021 as expeditiously as possible.

3. We are not aware of the number of matters pending before the DRAT. As such, it will not be possible for us to pass a specific order. It appears the matter is of the year 2021. The petitioner may file an application to the DRAT seeking disposal of the appeal, which application shall be considered by the DRAT. The DRAT may consider the ailment of the petitioner and take a decision for expeditious disposal of the matter.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
