(D.Krishnakumar, Acting Chief Justice) Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the order of this writ

Court dated 09.06.2023 has been complied with by the respondents. The learned counsel for the respondent also produced a copy of the notice dated 19.07.2024 issued by the Commissioner, Tambaram Corporation, in which one Ethiraj/2nd respondent in the writ petition, was directed to remove his unauthorisedly constructed building within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of the notification. Failure to do so would result in the Tambaram Corporation initiating necessary action under Sections 56 and 57(5) of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971.

2. Recording the above Notice dated 29.07.2024 and the submissions made by the learned counsel for the respondent, the present contempt petition is closed.
