This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondents to register a case and investigate on petitioner's complaint dated 03.02.2015 and subsequently on 09.02.2015 against one Suriyanarayana and to deal with him in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

3. On a reading of the complaint, it is seen that this petitioner and the opposite party had jointly purchased a land. While so, this petitioner had entered into an agreement with the opposite party to purchase his share of his land also. During the subsistence of the agreement, it is alleged that the opposite party had sold his share to a third party. Since the case is civil in nature, no positive direction can be issued to Police.
