ORDER

This contempt petition was filed mainly on the ground that the direction issued by this Court to the DVAC to file the final report within a period of six weeks was not compiled with.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that the final report has already been filed before the Special Court on 1.3.2024 under CNR Nos.TNCH080002252024 and TNCH080002262024, Special Court, Chennai. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that presently the documents are under scrutiny and that the case will be numbered shortly. 3.Recording the above submission, there shall be a direction to the Special Court to act upon the final report within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
