With the consent of both sides, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The Petitioner is a Lecturer in Physics in Government Engineering College, Bargur Krishnagiri District and she was originally appointed on 01.08.1990 in Thanthai Periyar Government Engineering College, Vellore and thereafter transferred to Bargur, Krishnagiri District on 14.07.2011. She claims that her family is at Vellore.

3. According to the petitioner, in 2011, her son was studying Engineering in V.I.T.Engineering College, Vellore and her daughter was studying Plus 2 and they were taken care of by her husband; while https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

so, her husband died on 15.04.2013 due to massive heart attack and her son got appointment at Hyderabad and her daughter is staying alone at Vellore, as such, she wants to take care of her daughter.

4. Due to the petitioner's family circumstances, being a widow, she made a representation dated 25.11.2014 seeking to transfer her from Government Engineering College, Bargur, Krishnagiri District to Government Engineering College, Vellore.

Since the said representation is still pending, she has filed the present writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to transfer her from Government Engineering College, Bargur, Krishnagiri District to Thanthai Periyar Government Enginnering College, Vellore.

5. At the time of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents could be directed to permit the petitioner to participate in the counselling that will take place in May, 2015 with regard to transfer.

6. In my view, the respondents would have no objection for the said submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner. Accordingly, the respondents are directed to permit the petitioner to participate in the counselling that will take place in May, 2015 and consider her request for transfer from Bargur, Krishnagiri District to Vellore.

7. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
