The present Contempt Petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of the order of this Court passed in W.P.No.36342 of 2016 dated 21.07.2023.

2. The learned Additional Advocate General has fairly submitted that even though the department has preferred Writ Appeal, without prejudice to the result of the Writ Appeal, they are making payment of Rs.12,64,872/- in compliance of the order of this Court. Compliance report to that effect is also filed before this Court.

3. It is made clear that the compliance of the order of this Court is subject to the out come of the writ appeal.

4. Since the order of this Court dated 21.07.2023 had been complied with by the respondent, nothing further survives for consideration in this Contempt Petition. Accordingly, this contempt petition is closed. Page No.2 of 4
