This contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondent for his wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.3664 of 2023 dated 09.2.2023.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate submitted that orders have been passed in G.O. 2D No.68 Home (Police-V) Department, dated 06.03.2024. A copy of the same was also placed before this Court.

In the light of the above discussion, this Contempt petition is closed. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the Government Order, it is left open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
