PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, seeking Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent "Not to harass" the petitioner and his brother Mr.Balasubramani based on the complaint dated 13.03.2021 lodged by Mrs.Kumudha, the 2nd respondent under the guise of enquiry.

This writ petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent Police not to harass the petitioner and his brotherMr.Balasubramani based on the complaint dated 13.03.2021 lodged by Mrs.Kumudha, the 2nd respondent under the guise of enquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3. Taking into consideration the fact that the nature of the dispute involved in this case is a money dispute, it is for the parties to redress the same before the appropriate Civil Court and the respondent police will have no role to play in a case of this nature.

4. This writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police not to interfere with the money dispute and it is open for the parties to agitate their rights before the competent civil court. No costs.
