ORDER

This Court, by an order dated 10.12.2015 made in W.P.No.37397 of 2015, directed the second respondent herein to expedite the investigation in Crime No.2434 of 2015 and file a final report as expeditiously as possible. Alleging https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ that the said order has not been complied with, the present contempt petition has been filed.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on completion of investigation, final report was filed in Crime No.2434 of 2015 before the learned XIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai-8, on 4.8.2016 and the same is yet to be taken on file. He has also produced a copy of the final report for the perusal of this Court.

3. Since the order of this Court has been complied with, I am of the opinion, nothing survives in this contempt petition and hence, the contempt petition is closed.
