PRAYER:

Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to take action to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 14.11.2019 and 23.01.2020 submitted with regard to survey the petitioner's land by meets and bounds, to an extent of Acre 2.25 cents in said comprised in Survey No.229/6, 231/4, 229/2, 231/5, 231/2, 231/7 in Alathykombai Village, Sathyamangalam Taluk, Erode District, by making proper sub-division.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to take action on the representation given by the petitioner, wherein the petitioner is seeking subdivision of the property.

2. The learned Government Advocate, on instructions, submitted that the representations made by the petitioner has been taken on file and the 3rd respondent has already fixed the date of enquiry as 27.03.2020. The petitioner has been directed to be present for the enquiry with all the documents on that date.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the subsequent development that has taken place, the 3rd respondent is directed to proceed further with the enquiry and conclude the same by taking an appropriate decision within a period of six(6) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
