The petitioners who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 379, 430 of IPC r/w Section 21(1) of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957, in Crime No.81 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that petitioners had illegally transported 5 units of savudu sand, each, in two lorries. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioners are owners of the lorries and they are not connected with the crime as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
