ORDER

This Court, by order dated 29.11.2016 in W.P.No.35448 of 2016, has directed the respondents to consider the petitioner's request for transfer in the light of Clause (i) of G.O.Ms.No.10, dated 07.01.1994 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Since the said order passed by this Court has not been complied with within the stipulated time, the present Contempt Petition has been filed by the petitioner.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the order passed by this Court has been complied with and on the request of the petitioner, the respondents have passed an order vide., G.O.Rt.No.283, Commercial Taxes and Registration (E2) Department, dated 03.06.2017. The learned senior counsel for the petitioner has also admitted the same.

3.Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives in the contempt petition. Accordingly, the same is closed.
