O R D E R

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent to conduct enquiry and take appropriate action in accordance with law and also provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's petrol bunk namely "Sakthi Agency" which is situated in S.No.378/6 Siruvachiyur Village, Attur Taluk Salem District.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is licensed to run the Indian Oil Corporation Limited bunk in the name and style of "Sakthi Agency" which is situated in S.No.378/6 Siruvachiyur village, Attur Taluk Salem District. He would further submit that the land originally belongs to the third respondent and that the petitioner after entering into a lease agreement, had applied for the license and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

he got the license to run the petrol bunk. Now, the third respondent who is not satisfied with the lease amount, is creating trouble and also threatening the petitioner. Due to which, the petitioner had given a complaint to the second respondent, whereas, no steps has been taken by the second respondent. Thereby, the present petition has been filed seeking for police protection.

3.Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (crl.side) would submit that there is a dispute with regard to the lease amount between the petitioner and the third respondent. He would further submit that based on the petitioner's complaint dated 10.02.2022, due enquiry would be conducted and adequate police protection would be given by the second respondent. 4.Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
