No 7107 of 2019 (C.S. No 456 of 2013) against which no appeal was preferred, presented by the petitioner for

registration before the 2nd Respondent vide Token No 18 (D218) dated 10.02.2025 and register the same within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 2 nd respondent to accept the certified copy of the decree passed in OS No.7107 of 2019 dated 04.03.2024 passed by the XVI Assistant City Civil Court, Chennai and to register the same.

Heard Mr.M.Kempraj, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Harish, learned Government Advocate for Respondents 1 and 2. 3.

The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that the decree that was presented for registration before the 2 nd respondent is not accepted and registered, inspite of on-line application made by the petitioner for which the token was also generated on 10.02.2025.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 2 nd respondent to register the certified copy of the decree dated 04.03.2021 passed

in OS No.7107 of 2019 on the file of the XVI Assistant City Civil Court, Chennai, forthwith.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
