ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.685 of 2015 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he has lodged a complaint with the respondent police as against one Anandh and the same was registered in Crime No.685 of 2015 for the alleged offence punishable under Section 420 I.P.C. Though the said complaint was registered as early as on 5.11.2015, till date, there is no progress in the said complaint. Hence, the petition.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent is directed to investigate the case in Crime No.685 of 2015 pending on his file and file a final report as expeditiously as possible.
